Rhonda’s main goal is to optimize her clients’ quality of life through health, fitness, and wellness, by combining fitness training with massage therapy. Through functional performance training, strength improvements, enhancing performance and recovery, and correcting body imbalances, her goal is to return her clients to optimal movement and a health lifestyle.
Rhonda enjoys helping clients looking for pain and/or stress relief, discomfort from muscular and flexibility imbalances, and relaxation. She focuses on techniques like deep tissue, swedish, orthopedic, and body mobilization techniques.
For her massage training, Rhonda attended Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and Clinic. She also received her BS in Kinesiology and Health Education from the University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Exercise Science with a specialization in Health Fitness Instructor and Medical Fitness and Rehabilitation. Rhonda has completed an internship program with Austin Fitness Clinic, Functional Sports Therapy and Fitness, and North Austin Sports Medicine. She is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Rhonda plans to continue her education by becoming an Active Release Techniques Provider.
When she isn’t massaging, Rhonda enjoys kayaking on Lady Bird Lake, kickboxing, dancing, and cuddling with her cat Khloe.
